Now known as MACH Mira's Peaceful Light JHA MXB MJB OF T2B CGCA, he is owned by Leslie & Roy Kupkowski, and was trained and handled to the title by Leslie Kupkowski. Luke is a son of Cass & Colt (Strider's Forecaster JH & CH Mira's Peacemaker CGC), and is their first dog. NEW Title!! Kimber earned her Novice Trick Dog and her intermediate Trick Dog titles! She's now officially known as Mira's Little Girl Kimber TKI and is owned/trained by Connie Priesz and Doug Tietz and is co-owned by Michel Berner. WAY TO GO KIMBER! Little Comet, Mira's Galaxy Girl, made her show ring debut on Sunday August 19, 2018 at the Marshfield Area Kennel Club show. She was entered in the 4-6 month beginner puppy event, and was awarded Best of Breed and a Beginner Puppy GROUP 4! Comet's owned by Michel Berner & Mark E Smith. Show Win Picture Nikko and Michel went back into the show ring for the first time in 2018 at the Marshfield Area Kennel Club dog show on August 18-19. Nikko was awarded Best Opposite Sex and Owner Handled Best of Breed on Saturday under judge Nancy Simmons, and was awarded Best of Breed and Owner Handled Best of Breed under judge Linda More on Sunday. Show Win Picture Congratulations to Katy Forsythe and Lizzie (Mira's Tempting Fate NA OAJ) picked up two Q's and two first place awards in Jumpers and Standard at the OTR CPE agility trial 7/28/2018 I have taken most of 2018 off from competition for personal reasons. Once Mark and I are done merging households and are settled into a routine, I will be back out competing with the dogs again :-) 2017 News Nikko showed at the Old Fort Cluster in Ft Wayne Indiana November 2-5 and was awarded Best of Breed twice (judges Barbara Demspey Alderman and Linda More) and Select Dog once (judge Pamela DeHetre) Colisha Schallock handled him to the wins. Nikko showed in Valparaiso, IN October 28-29, and was awarded Best of Breed under judge Sharol Candace Way and was awarded Select Dog under judge Carl Liepman. Holley Eldred handled him to the wins. Congratulations to Strider's Rowdy Piper AXP AJP RATI and Carrie Knutson on Piper's rank as 9th fastest Vizsla in the USA, based on his yards per second, in the 20" preferred agility classes! In Jumpers, Piper covers an impressive 3.77 yps and a distance of 3.10 yps in standard. Piper's 9 years old, too! NEW TITLE! Congratulations to Tricia Bucholz on earning Ginger's ACT1&2 titles! She's now Mira's Ginger Snap ACT2 NEW TITLES!!! Both Kari and Ruby get to add JH to their names after receiving their final passes on September 2, 2017! Kari is now known as IntCH Mira'a Caramel Extravagance JH CA CGC and Ruby is now known as IntCH Miras Ruby Slipper JH CA CGC. Both girls are owner trained and handled to this title by Janine Marty (and Chad Marty). Kari is out of Strider's Annika JH by Strider's Top Choice JH and Ruby is out of Shiloh's Little Leilani by Shiloh's Forgiveness. NEW TITLE!!! Mira's Circus Maximus MHA, CGC, TDI, NAVHD-UTpzIII gets to add another title to his name! Maks became a Junior HUnter Retriever on August 13, 2017. He is the FOURTH EVER in breed history to have earned this title! HUGE congratulations to Maks and his owner/trainer/handler Mara Mrvos on this historical title! Maks is know known as Mira's Circus Maximus MHA, JHR, CGC, TDI, NAVHD-UTpzIII and is out of Strider's Annika JH by Strider's Top Choice JH. Nikko has officially received all of his health clearances! Hips good, eyes/elbows/thyroid are all normal! Test results can be SEEN HERE on the OFA website. NEW TITLE! Michel decided to switch gears in April and enter Nikko into the IABCA International Dog Shows on the 15th and 16th. Nikko was entered 4 times (a show in the morning and afternoon both days) and received the V-1 rating (the highest rating available) and Best of Breed all four shows to earn the INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION title! He's now IntCH CH Mira's Irish Storm. On Saturday, under judge Joanne Paulk, NessaRose won the 9-12 months class, Best of Winners, Best Owner Handler in Breed, and BEST OF BREED for her first point towards her Champion title. On Sunday she won her 9-12 months class and was given Reserve. Michel handled her to all placements. NEW TITLE! Micah, co-owned by Colisha Shallock, Eileen Hackett, and Michel Berner finished her Champion title under judge GC Penta at the Packerland Kennel Club dog show on April 1, 2017. She's now officially known as CH Bravoz Treasured Encounter! Go Micah! (She's also Colt, Levi, & Eddie's sister!) Elphie had a good showing at the Manitowoc County Kennel Club and Packerland Kennel Club dog shows March 30-April 2nd with Colisha Schallock handling. Thursday and Sunday under judges Dr. robert Indeglia and Mareth Kipp, she won the 12-18 months class and also Reserve Winners. On Friday and Saturday under judges Dr GC Penta and Rick Gschewender she won the 12-18 months classes. Good girl Elphie The first dog shows of the season began well! NEW TITLE NEWS! Nikko finished his Championship requirements Sunday January 16 at the Winnegamie Kennel Club show under esteemed judge Mary Ann Alston. He was handled in the Open Dogs class and Winners Dog for his 3rd major by handler Holley Eldred. Michel took him back into the ring for Best of Breed and was awarded Best of Winners! Pending AKC approval, his is now CH Riverside Mira's Irish Storm! Nikko has been entered in a grand total of 14 different shows, and finished with 3 majors (4 points with Michel handling, 4 points with Sidney Hearn handling, and 3 points with Holley Eldred handling), he has taken Reserve at Reserve at 2 specialties and 2 supported entries (once for each with Holley and Sid), and is maturing to be a very nice boy! On Thursday and Friday she was awarded Best Opposite Sex under judges Anne Katona and Debra Davis. On Saturday, she was Best of Winners under judge Col Joe Purkhiser, and to finish the weekend on a very high note, on Sunday November 13, 3016, judge Richard Powell awarded her Best of Breed over three specials! Here's her *WIN PHOTO* Nikko showed in the 12-18 months class and was awarded Reserve Winners Dog on November 12 & 13 at the Coulee Kennel Club shows under judges Wayne Bousek and Cindy Vogels with Michel handling Driver was awarded a couple of very nice placements in October. On the 1st of the month, Driver won a 35-dog Open Limited Gun Dog stake at the Vizsla Club of Michigan field trial under judges Marc McKinley and Duane Yoder. On the 21st, he was awarded 2nd Runner Up in the Central U.S. Vizsla Association's Open Shooting Dog Classic against some very stiff competition. He was handled to both placements by Brian Gingrich. Nikko and Elphie were entered in the St Croix (MN) Kennel Club shows 8/26 and 8/28. In the 12-15 months puppy sweepstakes, Nikko was awarded 4th place under breeder judge Michael Walsh DVM, and in the Twin Cities Vizsla Club Spcialty, was awarded 1st place and Reserve Winnders Dog under judge Clay Coady with junior handler Sidney Hearn steering him to all placements. Elphie was only entered in the Specialty that day, and was awarded 2nd in a very competitive 9-12 months puppy class with Michel handling. On Sunday August 28th, both kids were entered and handled by Michel in their classes under breeder judge Walter Sommerfelt. Nikko was awarded 1st place in the 12-15 months class, and Elphie was awarded 2nd place in the 9-12 months class. Across the country, Elphie's sister Legs, Mira's Legacy Stride Right Edition, made her show debut at the Santa Barbara Kennel Club under judge Joseph Gregory with owner Melody Starr's granddaughter Hailey handling her to a 3rd place in the 9-12 month puppy class, and a 4th place in the same class under judge Debbie Campbell-Freeman later that same day in the Vizsla Club of Southern California specialty show! Way to go kids! Nikko and Elphie were entered in the Marshfield Area Kennel Club August 20-21, 2016. On Saturday under esteemed judge Col. Joe Purkhiser, Nikko was awarded 1st in the 12-18 puppy class and Winners Dog for a point with junior handler Sidney Hearn at the helm, and Michel handled him to Best of Winners. Little Miss Elphie was handled to 1st in the 9-12 months puppy bitch class and Reserve Winners Bitch by Michel. On Sunday, under judge Edd Biven, Nikko had a repeat performance with the same handlers for another point, and Michel handled Elphie to her first point when she was awarded Winners Bitch. Colt's brother Levi (GCH Bravoz Designer Genes) was awarded Best of Breed both days with Colisha Schallock handling, and their siste Micah was Winners Bitch on Saturday. Bodi, Nikko & Elphie attended the Kishwaukee & Blackhawk Kennel Club shows July 14-17, 2016. They held their own, placing in 20 out of 21 entries (Sweeps and Specialty entries)! Nikko was awarded Reserve to the 5-point major from the 9-12Puppy Dog class under judge James M Brown at the Kettle Moraine Kennel Club / Central Wisconsin Vizsla Club Supported Entry with Holley Eldred at the helm on July 3, 2016. Mira's Bodi, owned by Robbin & Austin Figge was awarded 1st in his 6-9 month puppy class and 6-9 puppy sweeps at the Central Wisconsin Vizsla Club independent specialty on July 1, 2016 with Colisha Schallock at the helm. He was awarded 2nd in the 6-9 puppy dogs class on Sunday July 3rd with Holley Eldred handling him to the placement Congratulations to Paul Skoglund and his girl Mira's Gypsy of Skoglundfarm on making her UKC debut with a Best of Breed, Best Female and GROUP 2! Nikko - Riverside Mira's Irish Storm - was awarded first place in the 9-12 Puppy Dog class under judge Sandy Alexander on Saturday 6-19-2016, and on Sunday, was awarded 1st in the same class and Winners Dog for the second major towards his Championship under judge Wayne Bousek at the Ft Dodge Kennel Club dog show with junior handler Sidney Hearn at the helm. He's officially Mira's Circus Maximus MHA, CGC, TDI, NAVHD-UTpzIII The family had a decent showing at the Twin Cities Vizsla Club Specialty Show held in St. Peter, MN on Friday May 27, 2016. Sweepstakes were judged by Ms. Jean Shepherd and the Specialty was judged by Dr. Bob G. Smith. Bodi (Mira's Bodi) was awarded 1st place in both the 6-9 Puppy Dog Sweepstakes and in the 6-9 Puppy Dog Class (handled by Colisha Schallock). Driver and Brian fulfilled a lifelong dream I have had of owning a National Champion! On October 24, 2015, Driver was awarded the title of National Field Champion and also completed the requirements for his Field Champion title when he won the 42-dog Vizsla Club of America National Field Championship held at the Horse Creek Ranch near Cheyenne, WY. The stake was judged by Wayne Yamashita and Christopher Rider. Driver was, as always, expertly handled by his trainer Brian Gingrich. Rex's Pedigree. We're super proud of Rex's accomplishments around here! He will be 7 years old in December, and has already been awarded the following titles in addition to this Championship: 2012 National Vizsla Association National Champion , 2012 NVA Eastern Shooting Dog Runner-Up Champion , 2010 NVA National Quail Championship Runner-Up Champion , American Kennel Club Field Champion , American Kennel Club Amateur Field Champion. On top of the titles, he's received plenty of non-title bearing awards as well. He has an Award of Merit from the 2012 National Gun Dog Championship, 2nd place in the Vizsla Club of America National Amateur Field Championship, and was Top Vizsla at the AKC National Retrieving Gun Dog Championship in May 2010. Driver hopes he can accomplish half of what his father Rex has by this age! Driver (Mira's MR Playmaker) made his field trial debut with trainer/handler Brian Gingrich on 9/21/2013 at the Vizsla Club of Illinois fall field trial. He placed 4th in the 11-dog Open Derby stake. Bones finished her title in 8 weekends, receiving three successive "majors" and the needed single point in short order.
