Hi Wanda,
Just so you know... I'll see you at the nationals in Texas. You'll love the
field grounds.
Hotel is laid back with a western style. Neat place, Ft. Worth.
I hope we do well for the blood draw for epilepsy study. I look forward to
seeing you again.
Best love and prayers - Judy

Hi Wanda,
What a great idea! You have a pretty amazing daughter, as I'm sure you don't
need me to point out.
Very glad to hear you will be at the Nationals and at the Board meeting....
Love the DC diet comment, hell of a way to lose weight if you ask me, have you
considered the South Beach diet instead????
Hang in there ol' bean, keep the humour in tact. Has anyone suggested trying
Transfer Factor? It's an holistic product that boosts the immune system very
effectively. Every little bit helps I imagine.
Congrats of the puppy at Kildeer, nice going! Our Moses is currently #2 GWP!!!!
isn't that cool? Maybe by the time he's 14 he'll have slowed down enough for me
to get his AFC!!!

Hey Wanda:
I want you to know that we are all thinking of you here in Indiana. I am glad
that Michel shared the dog pictures as well. You are living my dream of raising
and selling dogs. Your dogs are beautiful!
Keep up the positive attitude. I hope to visit you in October.

Hi wanda,
what a WONDErFUL website your daughter has created, to help keep us all updated,
and provide a means to send you notes.
It's wonderful to hear that you plan to attend the Natls and attend the Board
meeting..Many congratulations on your election to the Board. IF I can help you
in any way while you're there, I will do so. I am a nurse anesthetist(yes, I
pass gas!!!), but my basis nursing skills are still intact, so feel free to lean
on me for anything you might need help with, ok???
Sincerely,
Linda Kelly

Wanda,
What an amazing website Michel has created for you! You've obviously done an
incredible job of parenting.
It is so good to hear that you are attacking this thing with your usual courage
and sense of humor. I'm looking forward to seeing you at Nationals in
November. You remain in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Wanda,
The last report I had from Michel is that you are doing much better. I'm glad
your lucidity has returned and I'm sure you are too. Seeing creepy crawlies
around can't be a fun experience. I also hope that your pain is absent and that
your appetite has returned.
Tom & I are enjoying these nice warm late summer days. There's so much that
needs to be done around here before cold weather sets in. I've been trying to
get Tom to work on garage cleaning but not having much luck.
I'm continuing to pray for your recovery.
Love,
Jane Ann

Hi Wanda,
I'm guessing your weekend was quiet with the broken toe and all. Must have been
hard to decide whether to laugh or cry.
Just thought you'd like to know that Zoe loved Greenbush! I decided it is an
official Vizsla campground since she's the fourth Strider Vizsla to have barked
at astronomers there. Tell Tom she did a great job of waking some of the guys up
at 7 a.m. I think all the snoring scared her.
Everyone wishes you the best. And they all wondered if you're still doing any
observing. Please don't go walking around in the dark while looking at stars.
You can't afford to break anything else! See you soon.

Wanda,
Even though we've never met, I've "known" you for years via the Vizsla e-mail
lists. You're a huge asset to the Vizsla community and Michel is following in
your footsteps. Just wanted to let you know that there are a lot of Vizsla
lovers (and Vizslas :-) out here rooting for you! Take care!

Wanda-
I've been in the dark concerning your recent illness. I met a friend of yours
(Joan from New York-no further information given) at a hunt test here in
Massachusetts and she filled me in on your condition. First of all you are in
my prayers. I want nothing more than to hear of your good health and good
spirits, so I will be continuing to pray for comfort for both you and your
wonderfully supportive family. It is encouraging to see that friends and family
are rallying to your side with offerings of love and hope. I am saddened that
our 'in person' contact was limited to an hour last spring and that I'm not near
enough to sit and laugh with you again, as we did during countless phone calls
awaiting the birth and delivery of Strider's Ivan the Great.
Wishing you and your family the best.

Hi Wanda - I miss our daily e-mails to one another. But Michel has been keeping
me posted. I see your boy Briggs is blazing quite a trail... You sure know how
to pick (and breed) 'em. If you'll recall, the "green" puppy was to be mine!
Some day Tokaj will have a brother...

Hi Wanda,
I hope you have had as beautiful week as we have weather wise. Tom & I have
gotten some house chores done but need to do lots more.
Sorry to hear about your toe. You needed one more thing to cause you pain. I
hope it heals quickly.
Are you able to read? What kind of books do you like?
I hope & pray that you are continuing to feel better.
Love,

Just want to send you our best. Sorry about the toe. My first husband, Donald,
had hic cups and Shingles throughout his battle with cancer. Yup... it is
always something. Keeping you in my prayers and distance Reiki, now and again.
My guess is that the toe was a reminder that you should recover before
attempting a field trial.
Good news from the NewDawn clan. Remember Kozi, who took "best puppy in sweeps"
at Illinois Speciality. Both of her siblings that are showing are now pointed.
I'm thrilled. Love to you, Michel and Tom. -Ginger

I just want you to know that I think about you often and hope that you are as
comfortable as you can possibly be. Things here are going well, though we have
no power since the last hurricane, but we've didn't have power a few weeks ago
when Frances came through, so we are getting pretty good at camping!!!
Take care and e-mail if you feel like it. I'd be happy to update you on the
goings on with our silly dogs and silly people here.

Hi Wanda!
You're probably home now and feeling less than cheery. But we're thinking lots
of good thoughts.
Zoe had a squirrel by the tail last week but fortunately for us, her hold wasn't
very good and the squirrel escaped. She was thrilled, naturally. One of these
days I'm afraid I'm going to be stuck picking up squirrely bits. I hope her
adventures in scaring the crap out of me cheer you up a bit.
Hang in there - a whole lot of people are rooting for you.

Hi Wanda - I hope you're feeling a little better. I can relate -- albeit on a
much smaller scale -- with my present lower-back problems. I've got a herniated
disc (on top of degenerative disc disease) and may be facing surgery. I'll find
out more later in the month. But on the bright side, Tokaj and I have our first
senior hunt pass! Guess we'll have to wait till spring to get more. Hang in
there.

Dear Wanda,
I wanted you to know how much I respect the way you approached field
trialing and essentially life with a positive attitude and a smile on your face.
You accomplished your goals in the field trial game and never let the good old
boys keep you from succeeding. Your speech last year at the VCA Banquet was
worth the price of the ticket. I wish I had a tape as you had some zingers for
the men who said you could not win...and there you were accepting the VCA Gundog
trophy! So kick this disease like you kicked them.
Hugs and Best Wishes,

Wanda,
We want to thank you for the opportunity to share your life, even the parts that
have been so rough. You have fought hard and well. As you travel the next part
of your journey, take the gift of love that your family and friends have given
you. Be at peace with your life and know that your friends will be sure
everything works out fine for your family.
With love,
